so yesterday i decided to make the 5 hour journey up to chicago for the toy karma show. i arrived about a half hour before the show opened... was a little worried as they had already given out all the numbers for the line. i was about 40 people back, but luckily was still able to score a couple sweet pieces! no unpainted blue chaos for me though anyways, big thanks to rotofugi and mark nagata for putting on an awesome show! the customs and paintings were all amazing!! it was cool to meet a couple skullbrainers as well, here's some pics.

when i first saw the blobpus stuff i thought it came off very "half assed" and i think they still do when you look at a single piece alone but i have to admit they look kindda cool together. |

I can't come around on them myself, but that's just me. I still think that the Yolk and CNY sets were the best and most appealing even if they weren't customs. |

Martin's painiting was stunning in person. He doesn't paint on canvas either, its straight acrylics on plywood....absolutely beautiful...amazing colors... |
