I'm really starting to like Dokugans! I think it's the head and the webbed arms that I like - because I didn't like anything about the Last Kaiju Blob. And they've got some great paint jobs.

thanks guys! the papers are all fancy papers i've accumulated over the years, a lot from flax art supply here in sf. so they are very textural and make great backdrops for photos i've discovered.....i was kind of surprised how well the dokugan photographed against busy textures. i think of it as a complicated sculpt, with all those curves and folds and really didn't expect to have good results with the papers, just experimenting....

The papers at FLAX make enduring the ridiculously snobby help endurable. :-)
I never did understand retail help that looks down its nose at customers with better jobs who are helping them keep theirs.

Great photos and of course great collection. Dokugan is the greatest!
