Had a lot of fun with my Glowing SB Trick or Treat bag. I finally had the part to recreate my own version of the elusive glowing Pumpkin Brain!
The ever controversial new Obake. Love it or hate it, it can certainly GLOW. I may have accidentally kicked the tripod on this one but the resulting blur turned out pretty cool.
Finally got around to getting some shots of Kozik's outrageous Pickle series for Real Head. Consequently I'm really regretting missing the list for the last two additions. Oh well. Bigaro

Frank's correct. I charged up the figs with a desk lamp and used a 30 second exposure time. I'm also shooting to a RAW format which gives you some output flexibility before turning it into a JPG. I made some level adjustments to darken the darks but that's about it. Oh, and I'm using a Nikon D70s. Flickr has a cool feature where you can check the technical settings for any picture. Just click the "more properties" link in the "additional info" section. http://www.flickr.com/photo_exif.gne?id=1959143759 |

A couple years ago I shot with both a Nikon D70 and Canon 10D and honestly I think I got better results from the 10D, With SLRs you can spend a lot of money on lenses and if you already have one you can use, might as well go with Canon. |
