Hey deck-heads those floaty mount things do they work the same horizontally as they do vertically? I bought my first deck this week too (David Choe) but the art is horizontal not vertical. Any floaty hanger mount better then others? Forgive the noobness but all of my art is of the print/ original painting kind to this point.

For me cheap is better, with 35 + boards on the walls, I hang them 2 ways.
1. For vertical decks, 1, 12 inch plastic zip tie through top truck mounting holes & a nail in the wall. I use black or white ties depending on color of deck.

2. For horizontal decks I do it like this:

I've seen Scott pulling some sick shit on a board, huge switch ollie 180's to manuals amongst other things....so I have no doubt he will be busting out some sick moves on this!

I know this isn't part of the pusugrow title but seems like it belonged

Picked up this new board from SC skateboards on Fathers Day as a present for myself....I just couldn't pass it up:

Hey Jeb - Back in the hey day, I was a mediocre skateboarder at best......and several years ago I had the urge to take to the streets again so I purchased a skateboard and went out a few times to the local school yard to get my balance - I then went out on the street and did well keeping up with my wife while she was strolling the kids ....until I leaned back on the board a little to much and whoooosh....the board shot off 3 feet into the air in front of me and I fell backward onto my tailbone onto the concrete.....had problems walking and sitting for several months - I realized afterwards that I suck at riding but I'm better at deck art appreciation

ouch,,that is called a "wilson" in skate talk,,,can be one of the most damaging ways to fall,,especially when the years are added on & the bones not so strong..

about two years ago,,i was just taking a quick ride to the shop at midnight on a sunday to buy a lightbulb,,hit a large screw in the road & fell in slow motion direct onto the palms of my hands..i couldn't write or use the sink/doorknobs for three weeks...gettin old sucks sometimes...

:D . . . I did the same a couple of years back right after rebuilding an old Skyway BMX . . . new chain stretched under pressure and I flew forward over the bars straight onto the palms! Stuff you take for granted is a whole lot harder when you can't move your hands!

I put it down to being an idiot (forgetting to re adjust the chain after a gentle test run) rather than old age . . . .

karate roll man....... karate roll, saves your body ninety five percent of the time, at least on a skate I have no idea how to bail safely off a bike, that shit scares the hell out of me.
