jawkdna wrote: ![]() Is this the Medicom one? The one in a slim black box? I'm wondering how poseable these are. I've been thinking of getting one and then tracking down a Mazinger. Anyone have any pix of the lesser collected robots like Jeeg (seen the tin version on Erik's post), Danguard Ace, and Daimos? Jeeg was one of my favorites growing up (Mazinger Z takes the #1 spot), then my 2 favorite non-robot anime shows were Gatchaman (of course) and Star Zinger/Spacekateer. *Sigh*.....I miss my old toys. Moving sucks. |

When I was a kid there was a place called Castle Park Amusements that had a ride with the red helmet guy and the dual horned one, it went in circles and made sounds if you pressed the horn. There was also hovercrafts. |

manmachine wrote: Mazinger Z, Daimos and Voltes V!!! Does anyone have diecast? Daimos toys were almost impossible to find...even when I was growing up. I'm still wondering about the Medicom figures and their articulation. One of the best articulated figures I've found, other than Revoltech, are the Bandai model kits that were released a few years ago. They're about as tall as the Bandai Chogokin die-cast figures but more articulated. I really shouldn't even consider buying Super Robot toys when I've got no space left |

Gotta sort out some boxes full of stuff - pretty sure I saw it in one of them about a month ago. Just need to make a trip over to the family's place. If I find it, it's yours... Anybody get into the Fewture Mazingers? Just picked up the Great Mazinger...talk about articulation and die-cast weight...this baby has both in spades. It's over-the-top modern though, definitely not for the purists! |
