Post subject:  OJO ROCK N' ROLL!

Me and wife went to a historic rock and roll event this evening---Juan Dela Cruz Band invented Pinoy Rock in the 70's and considered rock and roll legends in my country.

For the first time in more than three decades, the rock legends Joey "Pepe" Smith, Wally Gonzalez and Mike Hanopol re-unite for a special concert accompanied by a Philharmonic Orchestra (Manila Philharmonic Orchestra).

I thought to myself, OJO ROJO could rock this gig! Since Martin's last show was rock and roll-themed...ROCK AND ROLL!!!!!

The venue is at the Tanghalang Nicanor Abelardo of the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP)---a very prestigious venue fit for the rock and roll gods!

First, the front acts were class acts too.... this is a band called "Radioactive Sago Project"---a spoken word/bebop jazz/punk rock kinda band...really heavy stuff...

"The Jerks" led by Chikoy Pura are legends in their own right in the Philippine rock scene.

Next up...the sultry, barefooted "Lucia" rocked the house....

Juan dela Cruz was awesome!!!

Now, a little back stage action....

Pepe Smith is a Pinoy rock god, and sometimes referred to as the Mick Jagger of the Philippines...cool and very funny guy!

Pepe , dont eat him!

Chikoy is a little baffled...

Lourd meets Ojo.

Ojo getting some "action" ...smooth...

I will check out this band.

Ever heard of The Aga Muhlach Experience? They were a short-lived band in the 90s. I don't think they were famous but my friend was involved.
