Hey folks,

New here, but mainly into Microman figures. Discovered them—like most U.S. fans—via the Micronauts line. Then discovered a toy store in NYC that sold Microman figures back in the 1970s for only a slight bit more than the U.S. Mego prices... And the Microman stuff was more varied and interesting...

Blah, blah, blah...

So anyway, I've got a nice sized set of pics of my collection—and stuff I've sold off—up on Flickr. I'm mainly into the vintage—and some repro—figures and the smaller cassettes.

Later,
Jack (aka: MicromanZone)

That's quite the collection. It must be nice to collect something that still would only take a small amount of space.

Thanks! Their size the main reason I like them now and liked them as a kid. In 3rd grade I got sick of MEGO figures because sticking one in my bookbag was... ridiculous and would get me busted. Take a Microman/Micronaut figure and it's no big deal.

Some seriously awesome photos. I used to collect some of the more recent MicroMan toys before I even got into Japanese vinyl. I quit after a while, but they are still very, very cool to me. They have such a long history and the toys are so detailed and (dare I say it) fun for their size.

I love seeing collections of stuff that I personally do not collect, but have interest in.

That Cosmo Satan Arden Rager is so rad!

True enough. People take action figure articulation for granted nowadays (did I just write that?) but without Henshin Cyborg and the innovations there, there wouldn't be Microman (which was started as a small Henshin Cyborg line) or any of the many figures that swiped or licensed that style.

Amazing flickr pics! Micronauts are still the coolest action figures, period.

Agreed, but stuff like this never made it over to the U.S.; the Japanese line had some great stuff that was considered "too wild" for U.S. tastes:
