All of them are pretty sweet. I was considering picking up the clear one for my clear shelf. I think he would fit in nicely. |

pickleloaf wrote: can you post a pic of the light box? Here it is! And what it looks like when a figure is being shot. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I placed a box at the back side because the rear panel keeps on falling back. It comes with a handy bag too and the cylindrical tube that carries all the chroma back ground fits in the bag all too well. Its kinda small so it would be difficult to do a big group shoot----like say for example a group of 6 Tokoji Seijins which are around 5 inches tall each: ![]() I'm not a professional photographer but this set up will do for me to shoot my toys for now. |

Awesome collection and pics Jay. And loving the new light box. I definitely should build a new one. I can only shoot single figs right now. |

This light box is relatively small but a bit compact so I went for it. An ideal set-up should be a "soft box"---where a three point lighting is possible. I am planning to get a 60X60 soft box for my new house in the future. For the meantime, this will do. |

That's a nice set up Jay and the results look great. Studio style photographs like these are amazing for bringing out the details of a figure. That orange vinyl kills. |

it seems like you are having the same issues as i did with my light box... the color in the photos seems a little flat. like it lacks contrast maybe i just prefer more contrast or i have bad eyes or something. i was never able to get the color i wanted in the light box without some significant photoshop editing. have these photos been edited? i'm not slamming your photos at all. and please tell me if you think i'm wrong |

Or I prefer them raw. I am an amateur when it comes to shooting pictures pickle---still experimenting and playing around. My appreciation with colors and contrasts might not be that mature as with some professionals here like yourself. But i am open to suggestions and would love to learn from fellow brainers... |

haha i'm definitely no professional. and if you like the photos as-is then that's the way they should stay. my comments really are just nit picking i have had more success with my own photos with more direct light... but maybe i just like the added contrast |
