Post subject:  Stomp goes to Mexico (VERY PICTURE HEAVY)
As I'm sure some of you know, I got married August 9th. So August 11th, me and my new wife (gf of 8 years) went on our honeymoon to Riviera Maya, Mexico. Stomp (who my wife named "Thor" for the whole trip) wanted to come too, so we brought him! Here's his story....

At the airport hotel, our food wasn't great, but Thor knew it would be great for the rest of our vacation!

The next morning, Thor woke up and had some coffee

Checked his email

And was ready to go to the airport

When we got to the airport we went to the delta desk

and waited for our flight....

Thor got bored and decided to listen to some tunes

But we finally boarded!

Whew, after that night, Thor had to have a little soak out on the balcony

When we came back that day, we found this. The housekeeper must have had a crush on Thor!

The next day it was a rabbit (there were new towel animals every day)

After a few days in Mexico, Thor wanted to go tribal!

He couldn't figure it out, couldn't communicate with the natives either

So he decided to come home with us

Thor looks like he had a really great time in Mexico... congrats on tying the knot...!!! fun pix...!!! Stomp rules...!!!

Thanks for the congrats guys! Yeah, we had a ton of fun at this place. And it was beautiful the entire time we were there!

Nice pics, I dug the elephant towel setup as well. Looks like you had a very nice time. Thats a cool thing they did with the towels, its always the little things that make something the best.

Yep, it was a great time and I will definitely recommend the "Iberostar" brand of resorts. We stayed at the Iberostar Paraiso Lindo. Everything was all inclusive (food/all alcohol/activities/sports/everything!), the service was fantastic (24 hr room service/ restock of the mini bar a few times a day!/ concierge service/turndown and room cleaning at least 3 times per day). They knew we were honeymooners (honeymoon suite and the asked on check in) and they left us a fruit basket, a giant bouquet of flowers, and a bottle of wine when we first got to the room. It was by far the best beach vacation I've ever been on.

Plus we got to see mayan ruins and go snorkeling in caves as well as the most crystal clear water I've ever seen. Unfortunately, stomp didn't go with us on the excursions though. :|

Love the 'peanut shots'!

Thor must be a little "thorny?" to pack---I wouldn't think you guys kept him in your dress pockets, so , I can imagine how you guys stuck him in your little back pack or small purse. :D

Stomp had to be the most photographed elephant on SkullBrain.

Yeah he got spikey, especially when I had him in my pocket. But he stayed in my backpack most of the time. Even at that, he wasn't exactly comfortable.... but worth it!

Once I forgot the stomp was in my pants back pocket, I sat on it and felt the pain on my butt. :lol:

Great pics! Somehow, it has an instant appeal too with the wifey and manages to charm his way to a nice vacation. :D
