OMG YES! Did you get the painted one too? Another mo-ass question, is that an obitsu body or a different one? These are my first suits, I'm considering going all out and getting a Walder repro to have guts but I'm also super cheap and like the price of obitsu's more. These are MAKING my Halloween this year. |

Awesome pics. I had a feeling I would like the unpainted best. It looks bad ass. Cool pumpkin as well. |

Great pics khanate. Love the one eyed zag pumpkin. OK can someone quickly explain henshin cyborg stuff? It's kind of confusing. Obitsu is the basic body that these pieces (head, arms, chest etc) are put on, correct? Henshin is the name of the original cyborg toys right? Walder is the skull head stuff that gets put on correct? Whatever this particular one is (satan head?- I've seen it before in pickleloafs photos?) it's pretty dope and it's GID which I've never seen. C. |

The body is a repro Takara Cyborg. Obitsu bodies are just generic poseable dolls that you can get cheaply. Some of them are cool (clear and black male bodies) but the waists are rather thin. They are great for posing though, as the Cyborgs and Walders are pretty loose at the joints for the most part. King Walder is the Cyborg with organic guts whereas the Henshin Cyborg has mechanical guts... Visible Innards is a great place to learn about the stuff if you're interested. I got the painted suit but it's staying in the bag until I can score a clear yellow Walder body for it. Love the new suits, hope they keep on with them... I know that Carl suggested the GID inside clear vinyl suit idea to SB a while back but that's about all I can say. I'd like to believe he's partially responsible for this version of the Death Phantom |

The last two pics remind me of Bealzebot from Futurama - especially with the Cyborg innards!

is there some special trick to getting that orange to glow like that. I have the GID strobe pumpkin Brain and it won't glow to save it's life. Awesome pics by the way, I love the karate chop action! |

I love GID photography but it's a pain in the ass. I have a large blacklight that I hold over the vinyl to charge it up, put my camera on a tripod w/super long exposure and a timer, then turn off the blacklight when the shutter is about to open. the glow isn't as strong as the pictures suggest, the long exposure time just makes it more extreme. Glad you folks like the pics! |

Here's a pic so people can see the difference between a Takara body and an Obitsu body: ![]() And just cos I took it, here's my four SB suits...needing bodies:

Sorry, I think the grey one is still my favorite - which is surprising cos I generally prefer bright colored toys. He'll have a body someday. |

The obitsu's aren't as good as the originals/repro's. But they're nice if you're fed up of having suits but no bodies. |
