Not sure yet what my new landlord's stance will be on my putting up shelves, but you have me inspired! A proper can needs saints and monsters.

Peanuts, please!

Ok, so here's some Peanuts on a shelf. These are merely the movie promos from McD's (no I don't eat there). Didn't like all of them tho, like the Sally sledding one. The Peppermint Patty one is nice; will have to find it. I like the Charlies a lot, and love the spinning Snoopy under the Woodstock tree. Love how they sculpted in the fur, and the Woodstock bobble-head is neat too. Over all I like these sculpts more than the toys in stores that I've seen. Also in the pic is a Woodstock car from '72, and a lovely blow-mold Snoopy with no other markings than "made in Hong Kong". It has a "draw string" coming out of the back of his head, for no apparent reason other than the look of it ~

^^ Love the bathroom setup!

The blow-mold 'draw string' is probably for hooking when playing a fairground game, and Snoopy
was the prize. I've seen a few older toys with that kind of thing and thats always been my guess.
Of course i could be completely wrong!

Love the eclectic collections mate, reminds me of my own shelves.

Ah, makes sense!
I've always admired your shelves too, my toys have always been "mixed up!" :P

^^^So much cuteness in the bathroom! You're guest must be pleasantly surprised when they see your setup :D . Can you please tell me a little more about those fishes :?:

Thanks~ my guests are usually more shocked than anything else! The fish trio are vintage plaster wall hangings I acquired this past year; I figured they'd be perfect for my display :)

Thanks! Yes, that Uncle Steve is a custom by Guumon. I picked it up at an event last weekend. It immidiately caught my eye when i spotted it at the booth there. I'm very happy i got the change to buy it from him. He's a super nice guy, and does amazing paint jobs.

Thanks! They're vintage plaster hangings I found at an antique shop. I thought their sculpts and sprays might go great with the toys :)

I like the vibes, rattanicus.

Got a new cabinet today. Should help keep me focused a bit. A couple random impulse buys made me firm up my resolve.

Now I'm REALLY fiending for the sitting blue glow kanegon to complete my U.S. TOYS set. Oyve.

So what's the story with those cabinets? Most handsome.

I agree, though I definitely never mind seeing more of the Kanegon/Gary set either. :P

Second the thought on those display cases. I am guessing they are new, but I do love the utilitarian steel construction and old store display style. If it is not a secret source, share where you picked them up, I am sure a few brainers might be into something like that.

All roads lead to Ikea?

And sure, didn't mean to give Gary and Karey short shrift. Word to Kappy, too!

Nice collection Victor. Love the range in styles and colours. I spy some beautiful S-tains. :P I see a couple that would make for great pairings. Fine lookin' shelf, mister.

Thanks, guys. Ikea is the name of the game. I think the green version is no longer available now. The red-brown version is new. Great, great case.

Ah dang. Well not any closer for me, and I guess logistically from anywhere is a nightmare anyhow, but thanks for sharing the source of them G! It is great to keep in mind for the future. I do like the green a tad more I think, but mixing 'em up like you did is to even better effect in my mind.

I don't have room on this single shelf for my Cadaver Kids, Bone Usir DX and the Mimi Monster Joe painted, but this shelf rules above the handfuls I've been fortunate enough to fill.
