It's been a while since I posted any shelves. When I first started trimming down, I decided to concentrate on glows, minis and gojis. So as the last "art toys" and almost all my big non-glow bits headed out the door, I've been building the glows and minis little by little.
Here's the first glow shelf:

Notice the nice hippo front and center? PK just got that to me, he surely can paint anything!

Cheesy fake glow shot (I don't have a black light):

2nd glow shelf:

Note gatchabert's fine manda in the center, more great SB custom!

Now this first mini shelf still has some large Woodring and Kozik, gotta keep those, but most important I still have some room to fill more stuff in!

Yeah, a small rabbit-like object got cloned out where that blank spot is.

This one's pretty crowded, but if ya squint and imagine, there's a couple of cool pieces at the back...

That's all for now, the only rubber I'm showing is in for sale.

Where's the Mini GID Goji from?

'San. If memory serves (and it usually doesn't), that came from either bushnell or Agin. I've seen them pop up on YJA, though since then. They never seem to show up in the dollar bin, dammit.

That's gatchabert's custom on an unpainted gid M1. Guy certainly has chops, eh?

Great stuff! I am jealous of your Bear Model Nurse, CCP Bakura and GID Yamanaya minis. How come your M1 Goji isn't busting a move?

It's a symptom of his giant abdomen, the Parababy version does it too.

that M1 Matango is sweet...and that Dodongo....i would love to have those in my collection. I never realized how shiney that Manda is that I painted. Most of the time I was about a foot away from it. That reminds me...I gotta buy more clear coat :D

Soooooo jealous of the mini M1GO Hedorah in Hawaiian scheme  & you're correct about the GID Goji - it is Marusan.
I'm just curious about the year & manufacturer of the blue/green Goji in the bottom right corner of last pic, near Zag & the gashapon Goji? I don't recall seeing that sculpt before.

Love the M1 Green dancing godzilla. Really nice collection of glows and minis. I'm with you on the fake GID shot you really have to have a black light and a nice camera to get a decent GID shot.

Woops. narsemandanarsemanda. Sorry, little stoked on my customs (first I've gotten here) wasn't focusing.

Yes, as said above by a smarter person, I think that it is. Will have to look up, it's been awhile.

Seller said bullmark and 35 years old, but didn't offer proof, the chop didn't look right when I got it. Pretty sure that the copyright is standard toho. I up-contrasted the printing on the foot, hope it shows well enough here.

Hey Yuck!! Yes, I cut'n'pasted (so that I wouldn't have to keep asking, heh) from the last post you made about translation, and I am grateful for your knowledge. But can you make out the top foot? It certainly doesn't seem to look like "bullmark".

Ooops. Blush. Shit. Of course if it's upside down, I have puzzled only myself. Yeh.

BTW, still have not learned to read or speak Japanese. My well-meaning friends tell me that it's impossible "at your age" to learn a new language that comes from a whole diferent root. We will see. Although this post doesn't look like a real good start.

Just learning kana is helpful for things like this, as most kaiju names are written in katakana, the bulk of which is just 40 characters. I work graveyards so have time to study a few hours a night but progress comes slow and steady. It is definitely learnable, there are just a lot of levels to it between having to memorize kanji, understand structure and speak correctly. It can be overwhelming when I really stop and think about all there is to learn... I just try to find motivation from being able to do things like read toy stamps or packaging and the occasions when I run across a kanji I know.
