Eat your hearts out guys - my g/f gets me kaiju for Valentine's Day. To wit, the vintage Leafman below (with the help of the wonderful Super 7 staff). Accept no substitute from your g/f or wife - if she isn't buying you kaiju, she's just not that into you! ![]()

I got a B-man forever Skullbrain and Squirm last year for Valentines... this year though money's too tight for kaiju gifts. We stayed in and ate and watched a movie instead of gifts. =) Phil |

my wife got me a ring. she said she was either going to get me kaiju or a ring. i can see someone having a hard time getting kaiju for someone, especially if there not into kaiju themselves. i wish super7 had a wish list. |

redhanded wrote: Super 7 needs a gift registry... only then should anyone marry. I'd go even further and say that your g/f needs to be able to name at least 10 Ultraman kaiju before you consider her marriage material (like that famous quiz scene from the movie "Diner"). Of course, at your discretion you can count as acceptable answers the names of kaiju from other shows like Spectreman, Mirrorman, etc. Collin Shots wrote: Sweet leafman! Were those your pink flowers too? I'll trade 12 roses for vintage kaiju any day of the week. Any other takers? |

And I was thinking "Oh my god she knows her old school transformers by name, she's marrying material!" I am very lucky. =) Phil |

Actually, redhanded has an excellent idea. Super 7 should start a "wish list" like Amazon so that friends and family would know what to get us for gifts. Related to that, with the amount and cost of new stuff these days, I'm getting kind of burned out on it and instead moving more towards vintage figures (I've always collected vintage but I'm definitely shifting my buying habits a lot more towards vintage - the cost is not that much more than new stuff and it's often a lot more appealing than the new stuff). Maybe S7 should start a Japanese/YJA buying service for customers. With all their contacts in Japan, as long as they could be relatively competitive with YJA, I'd rather see my dollars go to support S7 than the Japanese buying agents. If we had wish lists, for example, S7 would have enough lead time to search for things in Japan that our friends and family could get us for b-days, Xmas, etc. I'd much rather get a cool, vintage Kamen Rider villain than clothes I'll never wear, or whatever. |

For what it's worth, Amy @ Lulubell is possibly the gift-giving wife/gf's best friend. That's how I wind up w/the pieces I've been gifted |
