I also thought the Miss November figure would be cool; it really had a lot of potential to be an awesome figure. But when I saw one in person... just didn't cut it.

Sorry, not trying to slam on anything in a person's collection thread (lots of really great stuff in there), I was just a bit disappointed when I saw that one in person.

Meant to ask the same thing! That Bop is beyond intense! Serious collection growth after just 2 months...

Yes, it has been an expensive year, so I will be cutting back in the coming months, otherwise, my girlfriend will murder me in my sleep. But I'll probably just spend all my saved money at SDCC anyways...

I wish I can take better pics of the Sutfin HP Bop Dragon. My camera sucks (and my pics skills suck even more). This toy is probably my favorite pick up this year. I hope there is a Sutfin-designed figure soon.

I'm not exactly sure what you were expecting, since it is KR figure. However, I think it is the best designed toy that KR ever did. I guess that isn't saying much, since most KR stuff is crap, but I like this figure a lot. At least there won't be a million different colorways :)

KR churns out a lot of stuff that I wouldn't give a second glance to, but they do occasionally come out with something pretty nice. My wife is a big Junko Mizuno fan so we've got the two Pure Trance figures they put out a couple of years back, and they are really well made figures.

Sorry, not trying to slag your figure off or anything because I also think its pretty cool. I can just be a little picky at times

Added a picture of my pickups for March. Compared to previous months, everything seemed to get shorter in March.

I'm addicted to these Onell figures!

Is that silver pirate the bottlehead raffle figure? And what are the clear skullwings?
Nice haul for 1 month!

Ithink that March pic may need updating in the next couple of weeks!

Curious about the Wings too . . . legit protos or acetoned?

Author:  SmilingIdiot [ Tue Mar 31, 2009 6:02 pm ]
Post subject:  Re: So far this year...March Update

The Silver pirate is the same as one from the raffle, but I got mine from a trade (there were a few of them available in the Booty Sacks at NYCC). The other Pus figures are legit unpainted protos that I bought from an unnamed collector that was selling some of his stuff.

Who would acetone a Blood Pirate? Well...maybe Locomoco would...
