Alas,

I only acquired one Boglin (Squawk) when they first came out; so I have been searching the swamps and dismal cesspools (like Ebay) for some more of these critters.
So here we have Squawk and Mr. Crad (who shoots water, air, or milk out his nose)

and Splatt and Slobster, who is an Soggy Boglin like PaulieVinyl's Snish.

Slobster has a hard plastic claw that actually pinches; it's pretty cool.
There's a third Soggy Boglin, Slogg the Frog. If anyone has one, please post a pic.
I''ve only seen the box art for that guy.

Awesome Curtis! I love boglins. You really can't appreciate them unless you've ever handled one. The rubber is just so springy it's almost like the things are alive. That's a nice collection you've got there, boglins are increasingly hard to find and can bring some crazy prices.

are these those rubbery faces that you stick your fingers in the back of their head and make weird facial expressions with? they look like the things i remember, i loved those. either way these are neat!

Thanks Paulie and SK. :D Yes, the bigger ones can be puppets; the eyes move;etc. I just noticed the Mr. Crad is missing a finger, and the one I have had since the '80's has a finger deteriorating; I wonder what causes this?
Boglins can get pricey, especially the boxed ones. They were reissued in around 2000; these are generally cheaper to acquire.

Speaking of Madballs, I've read that the new Series 3 will (hopefully) be available for retail sale sometime this month.

And yeah, boglins are awesome. If you can find one for a decent price, pick it up. I'd buy more if I could afford to stretch my toy budget any further. Toys were so much cooler when I was a kid, and this is proof. Creepy, slimy, ugly and gross-out, GPK, Boglins and Madballs. Fun stuff.
