Show your Super7 collaborative/exclusive editions (magazine, store, etc.) here.

Doesn't have to be orange/black - can be anything that was an exclusive Super7 edition that was made by some company other than Super7 itself.

I'll kick things off with this guy:

Marmit x Super7 Sky Deviler

Bearmodel x Super7 Hedorah.

Version 1 of 2 (think I have a pic of the other version, with painted pupils and slightly different paint, somewhere). GID. Bearmodel. Quadruple bypass.

Yes, that is Mark Nagata's son, Max, buried in Hedorahs! I don't have my Super7 magazine issues right at hand, but there was a mail-in form in the first issue (I think) for this figure. So I am guessing that the date of release would have been 2002-2003.

Turns out that I have not yet taken a pic of my with-pupil version... Will try to get to that someday.

From what I can glean, here is the info. Please feel free to chime in or correct this information if it is incorrect.

Per Club Tokyo, regarding the version with the pupil: "This version was sold through Super7 magazine. This version was for people that got the order in before the original deadline. The figure has different eye, plus additional lines of red on the arms, back and head." So the version without the pupil must have been for people who sent their coupons in late.

Here is the press release for the first Super7 magazine. It mentions the

FIRST EVER ENGLISH LANGUAGE JAPANESE TOY MAGAZINE TO BE RELEASED LATE 2002.

"Announcing "Super 7: The Magazine of Japanese Toy Culture". The first English language magazine to cover the culture of Japanese live action science fiction and fantasy character toys!

"While similar magazines like this exist in Japanese, Super 7 Magazine will be the first magazine of its kind, specifically marketed to an English language audience!

"Mark Nagata, who is the Editor for Super 7, has pulled together a veritable "dream team" of Japanese character toy experts and enthusiasts together for the sensational first issue! "We called everyone we knew" said Nagata, "And the response was fantastic! Everyone wanted to be a part of this, so much so we can't fit everything in the first issue!" Nagata continued "Most collectors want to show off their collections, talk about what they know, and this magazine will be the perfect vehicle for that." Of course it helps that most everyone in the Japanese character toy circles knows or knew of Nagata, who has gained international noteriety for his popular "Ultimate Ultraman Toy Collection"

"The name of the magazine, "Super 7" refers to the seven most dominant characters that inspired toy lines in Japan:

"Godzilla, Ultraman, Gamera, Kamen Rider, Kikaida, Great Mazinga and T-28. But there will be a wealth of material on these and so many more characters in the first and future issues!

"Like its Japanese counterparts, Super 7 will issue two exclusive mail away vinyl toys! Another first in the US, lucky readers who send in their card can reserve for purchase a Bear Model Glow-In-The-Dark "Hedorah" (limited to 300) from Toho's "Godzilla vs. the Smog Monster" and/or a M1-Go/Club Daikaiju "Gorgo" (limited to 75) from the King Brother's classic of the same name. Both promotions are strictly a "first come-first served" basis. When supplies run out, there will be no more of either of these exclusive figures! "
