That's very tough. Kind of like asking if you have a favorite kid. But the first one I got was the pink (third from left), so he has a special place in my heart. :)

Good pick. I don't think I have seen Anraku do any other figures in that color of vinyl.

Never much cared for Gogas until this pic. Now they're starting to look interesting.

My favorite's the far left

I've considered offering STUPID crap for those clear w/guts ones, but I don't, gotta have control. Great shots, I think the blue is REALLY my favorite, but I'm always a sucker for clear w/guts.

It's Funny - most figure look larger in pictures if you had never seen them in hand before but when you finally see them they tend to be very small...the opposite is true here, they look small but they are pretty sizable...I believe over 10"

Yes, they are 11 inches tall from the ground to top of the head. It is probably the long narrow crop that makes them appear small. I didn't think to put something else in there for perspective.

Not to rag on your collection or the shot, but I don't see the appeal. They look like a silly dinosaur with plucked chicken wings. I can understand the appeal of Bemons more than these.

That being said I like the black one the best out of all of them.

No problem. If we all liked the same things, it would get pretty boring. Have you ever actually held one, and still don't like them, or just don't like what you have seen of them in photos?

I love these guys. They have such great character and personality that I find lacking in a lot of other vinyl, Japanese or otherwise. Even if I had to sell the rest of my collection, I don't think I would ever part with them (or the other Anraku pieces I own, for that matter).

So you're saying you don't like silly looking dinosaurs w/plucked chicken wings? You make it seem like a bad thing yet that's part of the appeal! It's big, chunky' a little goofy and has lots of personality, same reasons I like a lot of figures.

No, I've never held one, and I understand the personality aspect- Rangeas is one of my favorites and the big bug eyes are a big part of it, but I just don't like the look of these guys. Just a case of different strokes for different folks I guess.

That is one tight collection, Geo. Although expensive...that is, if you value them by YJA standards that could be about $21,000.

I think these are neat figures with some fun designs but doubt they would have the same appeal/mystique if they were more widely available.

I've seen Totojustice's collection in person. Pretty amazing.

The one I don't recall seeing anywhere else is the clear with guts next to the black one on the end. Anyone else sighted one of these with this paint? I would be interested to know. [Edit: looks like Totojustice has one that is pretty close.]

is this it?

Geo, that's a pretty big table- somehow I'd always thought the table to be 3ft dia.

Lol!
Now that you mention that, it must be a huge table...they look like mini Gogas on it!

I think if you saw and held one in person, and saw the depth and layering of the paint, you would appreciate them a little more. That's a guess of course, but in the case of this figure/sculpt , it really comes down to the paint app for me.

I see different colors and hues every time I pick mine up.
