The application difference is really interesting... were these a production thing, or a handpaint of some sort? Seems like two different people must have painted them.

These are production. It seems to me that the lighter blue is a base to the darker blue, which wasn't used on the lighter one. See how the legs look very similar. Anyhow, great score.

Yeah, but also look at how much more care the dark blue is applied, especially around the mouth... there's almost no stray paint on the lips or teeth on the darker one, but the lighter blue was clearly applied in one broad stroke.

The lighter color one in the front I was given in a sealed package, so I'm sure that's how he came from the factory. The other one I got in a trade and was surprised how darker he was?

I remembered someone did mention that the darker version is a 2nd run.

I just noticed this difference in the legs/feet on mind. The one on the left can stand pretty well, but it is obviously not quite right. It doesn't look bent or anything either...who knows haha.

Oh, there might be a slightly different paint app on the 2 as well, but nobody cares about that kind of thing, right?

There are two colors of glow prototypes out there as well, a white glow, and a more traditional yellow-green-white glow. Crazy. Go back and search the board archives, the pictures may still be there.
