Post subject:  "Le Studio Plastique" renewal

Before posting on the web was rendered easier with photosharing sites & blogs, I created some sites based on my toy collecting interests (mainly Devilman & Spectreman at the time).

I also created a site called "Le Studio Plastique" which was not based only on my collection. Maybe you've already visited it. If not, you can see it here (best viewed with i.e.)

When I first launched the site, I wanted to let other photo artist display their works on toys and thus show different sides of the hobby or sensibility around toy collecting / displaying.

The present version shows 2 other artists that worked mainly on action dolls, but I would like to make a renewal of the site and propose other works to be displayed.

Of course a large number of you have Flickr accounts and/or display your works here, but you might be interested in displaying them on another collaborative website.

There is no limitation on the toy genre, so it may also be an opportunity to show some other photographic toy works which do not focus on Kaiju / Soft Vinyl.

There are some restriction to the collaboration though : the photo works must tend to be "artistic".

If you are interested, let me know, I will tell you how to collaborate.
I'd take any comments about the site too.

Thanks.

Looks like this could be a really neat endeavor... 'realistic' stuff like Ashley Wood toys or Hot Toys Iron Man stuff would look really good placed in some real settings! Wish I was better at photography

That said, I have one minor criticism on the site... the flashing effect when you mouse over thumbnails is really nauseating... it'd be better if it just changed to the negative state when you moused over and stayed... blinking is a little much.

... Now I don't really know what to think
I may do some changes to the overall presentation, but I would need more feedback to enhance it properly.

And seriously, no one wants to have a section in it ?
There are some very talented photographers around here, so either you are shy or would you be ashamed to be displayed there ?

Promise, I won't bite...
