Wasn't sure if this should go in the vintage section.....

Been collecting moneyboxes on and off for years.
Here's some recent arrivals from Japan.

The drummer guy is my favorite. Bit battered but he has so much character. (Toyo Tyres)

the kitaro pair are great, although I think the skateboarding bear is my personal favorite. nice figures!

:?: Does anyone know... I've been admiring those piggie cooks moneyboxes on JYA, and notice that they can be sold from a wild range of 2500 - 35000 yen. Were repros made of the vintage? Does that account for the price difference, or are they all vintage? Is there a certain manufacturer(s) that make them? Are they still being made today for distribution? Thanks for any info you can give.
