and finally got all the toys out and on display since i moved 4 months ago. i am not a big follower of change, so most of my line-ups have kept the same shape, but this is the first time i've had everything in one focused area.             full collection shot:  rainbow figures aren't very detoif user-friendly...  added this because this thread isn't pic-heavy enough  :

thanks folks! glad you are all liking the set-up. and yes, the toys needed to get out again. since the move, i hadn't had a free day to get things situated. and i hate being rushed when filling my shelves. that's the most fun! i too like the "clean" look of detoifs, but i'm glad i mostly collect fight-sized figures, being that i can only fit 6 or so standards to a shelf. i thought about upgrading to a different type of shelving unit, but then i would have had 2 empty detoifs stored away, so i just went with the more detoifs direction. living dead wrote: Nice set up. My word ol chap, your collection is as clean as a whistle! Perfect organization and color scheme, if this were a gourmet meal it would be good enough to eat. And that pink gorilla is certainly showing off her stuff for miss vinyl universe! Goo goo ga ga!

i finally finished my secreter search!  i'm proud of this shelf, because it has broken away from my OCD-style symmetry:  but this is mostly what i have been working on (1 shelf broken down into 3 pics):    toxic crusaders! only need a complete nozone and the 10" bootleg toxie...  also been working on my standard-sized "kaiju"    soma little rubber robots. anyone know what they are called?

Those Marmit Hedorahs are imo one of the best renditions of the sludge monster. |

 Um, I think you have a super, super rare Speclatron figure (MOTU KO w/ chest filled with glitter/water).Actually, it's probably not that big of a deal, and you should probably just give it to me.

Actually, it's probably not that big of a deal, and you should probably just give it to me. speclatron is close to impossible to find, by far the hardest toyline i've ever attempted to track down. since learning about them, i've hunted for them a little bit every day, and that dude is all i have managed to get. i am surprised at how little information there is to find on them. someday i will have them all, hopefully before my 4 year old son graduates from high school! |
