Shikaruna Limited Week 3 Gaezal. I have "Limited Week 1 and 2" also coming this week so I'll post the whole group when they arrive. I'll have the black and gid up for trade (they came with the lot). Looking for the green/orange version:

I always thought the Lucky Bag painted Matango should have have gold hair and a black spot on the stomach, and Mr. Kaiju obliged me by adding it.

That's a Zollmen Fancy Toy. Everyone calls him Popy. This happens to be the Kingbee version. I'm going to take some more pics later this week, I'll get a back shot of angilas.

Yeah I have to thank Tim (plover) for that one. It's nice to be complete on the original 11. I'm not going to kill myself looking for the other two that came out recently unless they fall in my lap magically. Tired of middle men, searching etc etc, just want to break for a long long time. Besides they didn't really bowl me over.

Thanks Ian, speaking of those minis- Does anyone know what the tribute is on the Marigon pictured above? I know Booba is Red King and Gikkola is Alien Zarab.

I've always thought it to be a reference to Bullmark (non-magnet) Shugaron. The right eye is blown out, just like the old toy.

Got the rest of the Gaezal herd in yesterday. Absolutely brilliant coloring. I really like the older paint applications of Shikaruna. Too many one off's and bizarre paint schemes going on these days. I can't believe I managed to score all three of the "this week" Gaezals. For a moment it was 2008? all over again and they weren't sold out instantly and I actually had a chance (at a fraction of what they would have been after market style then)

Great line up, I don't think I have seen such nice pics of the more orange "this week", it is really amazing. Gaezal will always be my favorite sculpt as far as SK is concerned.

I was checking it out and holding them up to the light and it seems all 3 are on that clear orange vinyl. Just the paint on the other two covers it more. I can't stop staring at them as they sit on top of the detolfs lined up. Quite a distraction when watching TV. :wink:

Who is the president?

'This week' refers to the release style of those 3 Gaezals (the Japanese title was something like 'Konshuu no Gaezal,' lit. "This week's Gaezal."). For a while, S-K would release one of these a week, limited to about 5 pieces each. This was shortly after their website was opened, if I recall...

The colors are much more vibrant than I would have guessed from the old photos. Nice!
