I did a quick check first to make sure there weren't any existing "Show Your Collection" threads for all things Shikaruna or specifically Shikaruna Marine Kongs, and didn't find any. So, I decided to share my collection of one of my favorite figures. Any other fans out there, please feel free to contribute as well! :)

Not the best photos, but tried to shoot what I could based on the conditions and what I had.

yeah, that was seriously true LUCK in the lucky bags this year. i pretty much got all the colors but one and had two mixed. ended up trading a mixed to a friend to help complete the rainbow. the colors you see in the mixed are all the clear colors they used for the lucky bags.

It was cool they did 7 colors and the MK has 7 pieces so it works out perfect.

I'm still surprised that you got all but 1 and no real doubles in the lucky bags.

For what you got, and the price, the Shikaruna kaiju bag was my favorite LB this year. That's saying a lot because I'm a huge Gargamel fan and their bag killed this year. 2 Kongs alone is well worth the price, being unpainted is a bonus for me. Plus you get a Devilman, Kappa, and conductor.

Haha, it's not so much lots of disposable income as it is just saving and spending on a very focused collection :) But yeah, I wasn't really planning on getting that many lucky bags this year, until it was confirmed that it was TWO marine kongs per bag, then I was hooked, haha. Thanks for all the kind words folks! :)

Can't wait to see the other marine kong collections!

Marine Kong has a great sculpt that captures the live-action suit feeling. Particularly like the first row.

Hey, but that 1st version should really be inside the case!

Haha, very true. I actually took the guys on top and put them back in their bags and storage. However, I might reorganize the top shelf and move in the 1st version.

I wish there were more versions with red or yellow eyes. I'm a big fan of those two colors on any figure for some reason. That's a serious Marine Kong collection pollard.

Here's one you don't see too often: a painted on clear vinyl from a Wonderfestival.

Nice. Was this painted by Killer J? Or was it a micro run for WF? I know Killer J painted about a dozen 1-offs on clear vinyl.

Not sure. It came out at the same time. I got it off YJA and the header card is marked WF with no Killer J.

Here are the ones sold through Grumble:

"Shikaruna Koubo x Killer J Handpaint Marine Kong

Killer J x Shikaruna Koubo Exclusive Handpaint 1 off Marine Kong,
All of it is handpainted by Shikaruna Koubo,
Sold by Blind Assortment. There are these 9 + some others that aren't pictured.

You will receive one figure at random. Each one a 1 of a kind work of art! No one paints like Shikaruna Koubo!"

However, Mark, yours does sort of resemble the one in the bottom left corner of the grid. (Great score by the way :))

It's probably from the same batch, but it's not the one on the lower left. Mine has no green on the feet and has purple spikes on the head. Can anyone who got one from Grumble Toys chime in as to what is on the header?

Yeah, seems like it makes sense. I just figured the head looked really similar. I'd be interested to see if there are any others out there who picked up one from GT. The only reason why I held back initially is because I think the cost for these were around the $300-$350 price point from GT at the time of their offering. I had to pass at the time due to cost and the fact that they were blind. I think the purple/grey in the top right is my favorite of that bunch.
