Post subject:  My MOST Favorite Toy(s) From My Collection @ This Time Is...

Choosing just 1 favorite piece from personal collections we're all so passionate about is NOT an easy one. But if you think hard, I'm sure some of you can think of that one kaiju, tokusatsu, etc. toy of yours that you not only look at & still get just as amped as when you 1st laid eyes upon it, but that you also, & for whatever reason, hold it in higher esteem over all others in your collection.

So this' the thread for posting your #1, sometimes with a story, but always with a picture.

K, I've just made myself super curious now, so let's get to the sharing! :D

Only Rule, and kind of a given - Must be Vinyl or Resin.

My favorite piece at the moment is definitely Marusan's Grand King (crystal blue version)...

He's a Beautiful figure @ a Great size, but due to how he came into my possession this Summer, he's also come to be a symbol of sacrifice & selflessness.

EDIT : Choosing 1 can be difficult for us toy lovers since we have favorites for different reasons, so NOW, changing it up for less headaches -
Welcome to the thread for Your Most Favorite Toy(s)!

I really like this thread, thanks Boo for kicking it off. I've asked myself the same question quite a few times... Difficult to trim down to one but I guess it would be this fella here:

this was a gift from john. i was trick-or-treating with my daughter on halloween a few years ago, and randomly got a message on my phone saying i had been picked as the lucky beakfc member to win this. he painted on the toy every single day for an entire year, then filled it with pennies and put a vintage stay puft head on top. by far the coolest toy gift i have ever received, and i will always cherish it!

Thanks for your posts. I'm really happy with how this is going so far.

I was surprised that a thread like this wasn't already active! Seems like an obvious one that would've been covered by now, yeah? Granted, there are Many a Favorites Thread in the depths of SB, but none seemed to embrace the "whole" (well, except for http://www.skullbrain.org/bb/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=997&hilit=favorite%3F maybe, but it's pretty obvious upon a visit why a new 1 was needed).

Thank You for helping to get this moving. I've enjoyed EVERY entry thus far.

Anyway, Good Stuff! :D

So, Post On, Shiny Diamonds!

This is one of the first Japanese vinyls I ever bought. I carry it everywhere, I love "hands-down" pulls/sculpts. If my toys get off the ground I want to do some minis more like this and I have some amaze-balls ideas for some too.
(Sorry for whoever owns this pic but I couldn't be arsed finding my camera and this was in google-search and not linked to an account.)

Funny, I always come back to this guy in all his unpainted glory. An in-expensive piece of brown vinyl, Marmit's Dogu (Ancient Spaceman) more resembles a stone statue. Love the sculpt, ornate detailing and it's chunky chocolate vinyl.

Great idea for a thread! I'll need to really think about it and get a photo. Now which Duñny is my favorite…

I really like this zag by Naoya. It has a lot of weird and more subtle colors, and it doesn't pop out on my shelves, but I could stare at it for hours. I love murky colors.

this was the first jp vinyl that i really "got"; the combination of simple, expressive, goofy sculpt with glow vinyl and subtle paint application just works. still my favorite after 7 years.

Sorry COOP, I suspected it since COOPs' pics all have that crisp look...looks like some A-Hole has this on his blog then because I just got it off google images.
I just got the sofubi Michael Jackson with Zombie Head and I think that may be my NEW favourite toy. Although I REALLY want that DOGO now since I've seen the original statue in pictures in Mysteries of the Unexplained books for 40 years.

Even though I'm [currently] exclusively into Skullbrains (as far as SB goes), I totally get you on this. It's an incredible figure in the FF oeuvre. Love it.

Such a wonderful paintjob David, so subtle yet balanced. And that eye is a beautiful touch. Congrats.
