Ahh. Awesome. I have nothing to contribute, but am really interested to see what else there is out there. Great collection. What is the large middle guy with the detached head? Game, character and maker? oh, and also the white cyclops to the left of the pic? |

Dullahan aka Shielder by zoomoth from Ghosts n goblins or Makaimura Cyclops Makaimura/Ghosts N Goblins. I've seen the two pack of this figure with Arthur. Haven't seen a white version. Wouldn't be surprised if it was a lazy custom. Here's the "other" version.

Ahhh right on. I've got a friend with a bunch of arcade cabinets. We were playing ghosts and goblins last time. What an awesome and hard game! |

Just a few bits I didn't see mentioned here. I'm too lazy to take pics of my own stuff. In addition to the DaiMakaiMura monsters, Zoomoth also did a few versions of the Baby Metroid from Super Metroid. Same sculpt but three different colorways. Nerd One also produced that Samus in black and released it unofficially. I think he also made a Konami Man + Konami Lady set. IIRC with the Gorilla Tank he was going to try and get a Wai Wai World license for Superfestival but it was rejected so he made it into the tank. What could have been... Gargamel did the Marios (NOT Super) in three colorways, a Dig Dug set, and I believe a 'friends and family release' Toxic Mario set. The Toxic Mario keshis were originally unlicensed boots released in the 80's and even before Nintendo got tight assed with their licenses there was no way they would have authorized an homage to those guys. There was a user here (dustin?) who had a pic of these I think. Those Necro's Fortress figures above were made by Naoya under his own very short lived AZRAEL spinoff. Cheeky bastard. I believe he sculpted the Dullahan as well. You can see the strong Famicom influence in his stuff! I think he also got the license to produce at least one MonHun figure as AZRAEL as well. 2008-ish. There's also a ton of random stuff from the 80's. Pieces in good condition go for huge money though. Lots of modern pieces that get produced in large numbers as well. |
