I didn't see a thread like this, so thought I'd start one. What was your favorite toy (or toys) you got in 2014? I'll start out with this little guy. While not the biggest or necessarily hardest to find toy I got this year, I had been looking for this Sharkman for years, and thanks to some awesome board members I finally got it.  So let's see em! |

My favorite of the year has to be this Atom-AxPopsoda Jungle Fever Fog:  Hopefully will get the DCON Glow Kimono Ghost soon... but that will be my 2015 favorite Close second for the year is the Snotblower by PusheadxMedicom

I'd been planning to start a thread like this a while back, but life kind of got in the way of that. I was thinking three categories: Favorite new sculpt; favorite new repro; favorite score. Obvioully no one has to follow suit with me on this, but... Sculpt's gotta be Buta's Dodongo:   That little fellow is giant fun. M1 wins the repro prize with their walnut-painted mascot set:   I love everything about these crude and charming sculpts, and the packaging is almost too good. No suprise that my favorite score of the year is also going to be Buta, but how to pick just one?   Well, I can't! But it's a fair cheat: A boy and his "dog." Chibira-Kun and Pochi Pochi FTW. |

I don't think I have one favorite of the year. It was a big year in collecting for me. Itokin Park is always my first love in toys but there were other lasting thrills this year too. So...top 3?

2014 was a weird year for me, I think my collection decreased in size overall rather then expanding... but probably my favorite aquisition was the red/blue skullwing kit from the Hyperstoic Show:  I was extremely lucky to score this. The colors are so nice, it looks like it should be berry flavored! |

The Boss is my favorite 2014 release and the Obake Dog is my favorite score of 2014. Hoping my trip overseas in two weeks sees some early "Best of 2015."

2014 was a huge year for me as a collector, Trimming back and focusing has not only kept my credit card in check but it has helped in my appreciation of these little vinyl treasures and the time I have committed to hunting them down. I made very few purchases last year in comparison to previous years and am very grateful that I have been able to not only score some great toys but some of my most coveted ones. Biggest score of the year for me is the Kuroi Majin Set, I really thought this would be out of my league but I was Super lucky here.  Very close second is this this little Butanohana Ultraman set. I could not be more appreciative of the help I had to score this. Thanks to the special skullbrainer who went out of their way to help me with this.  Special mentions to go other top toys of the year. 2014 was really my first year collecting sofubi. It's been awesome. I'm really pleased with all of my acquisitions, but these two are my faves: Custom Quackula  NYCC Oron
