These are called "throws" and are literally thrown to revelers by Parade riders from their floats. You can see: 1. Muses clear pink shoe braclet and ear rings in package 2. Krewe D'etat bulletin - folds out to a display showing all 21 floats 3. Knights of Chaos Knight mini plush

The skull jesters are cool, but I think the baseball signed by the muses is the most a-muse-ing. Glad to see Mardi Gras is still alive (and hopefully well). |

Chad, forgive me, I don't know anything about Mardi Gras tradition. What are the "Muses" and "Knight of Chaos" references all about? |

Those are the names of the Krewes (organizations) that are having the parade. So Muses and Knights of Chaos are Krewes. If anyone else has questions, ask away... |

That's some cool swag. I don't remember anything like that when I was at MG, just necklaces and the coin thingy's. (Of course, I don't remember a whole lot overall, but that's kind of the point, isn't it) |

My most coveted parade throws are my Harry Lee magnets from the metairie parade down vets. Also one of the best reminders of the 5 years I lived in jefferson parish. I can also remember catching all the potatoes, carrots, and cabbage during the irish-italian parades. Chad, is he still sheriff? |
