I did some shelf re-arrangement today for a cool new Pollard that I got thanks to an excellent chap on this very board. I liked the way it turned out (plus I want to show off the Fresh Meat), so here are some pics:

Case overview (OH MY GOD it's nearly all WESTERN...Noooooooooooo!!!!!!):

What's with the tag around the blue pollard's neck? Is it handpainted?

Yeah, its the handpaint from the day long line-up at Bispop last year.

I laughed out loud when I read that, but you do make a point that was on my mind. This series of photos shows that a discerning collector can indeed assemble a collection of Western vinyl that even hardcore kaiju collectors can appreciate and respect. Of course, a good deal of this is kaiju-inspired Western vinyl, but still ...

Really, really cool. Some of these pieces, I've eschewed because of "guilt by association" if you will, but now that seems so unfair. They really do compliment each other nicely. Great stuff, great pictures.

So you're no longer a completist?

I am a wanna-be SB completist - I am nowhere near complete on anything much else. It would be pointless aiming for completion on the Pollard front as I don't even own a small Pollard at this point and I am trying to spend less. In this case, I am just enjoying what I've got, and what appeals to me.
