Spider Boom, my favorite sculpt from the Ghost Land seires. Thought I'd pick up the airbrush again and give the baby blue original a spin seeing I haven't painted since last summer. These are the best pics I can do (yeah my camera and I suck), the silver/chrome is too reflective... I can see my image in him when he is in hand but to capture it was impossible so I tired some color/background variations.

Very Cool. What else have you done in the past?

Amazing job. I dug the sculpt and definitely wanted to see more of Black Widow, so this makes me happy. I love that you used an obvious color choice with the red, but still made it pop with such a well done application.

Im not as prolific as most here, I have done a few gargamels, a 4 part series of Goro repros for a non-board member.I plan on doing a 6 part baragon some day. Most of my crap can be seen on the flickr below. Gladly my work situation has finally gotten to where I can get to painting and doing dioramas.

Thanks

this is really great. the colors work well and really accent the details of the piece. i shouldn't have gotten rid of mine :(

also, i don't think blackwidow is part of ghostland series. the original flyer in the anniversary lucky bag said it was from its own series of killer robots designed for destruction by BF/Gargamel collaboration.

That's excellent! I like it much better than the unpainted. This critter hasn't gotten enough love yet ... I'm glad you picked up your airbrush again.

Here's an older redhanded custom Blobpi ... I dig the pearly oceanic colors. He now sits on my writing desk.
