I think I'm going to add some orange and yellow to this guy. Please let me know what you think. Thanks! -Brad

Looks tight the way it is.
But some orange highlights might be nice.

It's a little similar to LASH's "Horror" set.

Well thanks for the compliments. I knew it looked like something, and dang it if it isn't super close. Lash has a rub look to his though. Differences are that mine is red and deep purple, I think his is black. And mine will have orange and yellow highlights.

Sorry Lash, guess you motivated me subliminally....

The fades appear very well done. I like this one for its simplicity. Makes a good strong "statement." I agree maybe some minor highlights would work but it's lookin' good the way it is, too.

Yeah I saw that one. I'm still planning on using orange, but with yellow, and it shouldn't look like yours.

They could be long lost relatives...lol :D
I'm sure your figure will come out looking pretty cool. I'm still hoping KT will make other RxH figures into Solids for us to paint.

Alright well update time. I will NEVER use rit dye on realxhead vinyl again. I'm glad I found out on a $30 SOLID chaos though. Today I was looking at my iPod and my mouse (both have white parts), and I noticed that they were red. I couldn't figure it out for the life of me, but then I thought about it. I had been holding my chaos all day trying to figure out the paint scheme. HE WAS BLEEDING! So I stuck him in hot water and within minutes the entire pot of water was red. I've been changing out water all day and everyone has been red. It's been leaching the dye everywhere. I don't think the blue I used is leaching, but I did the blue first, then dipped the whole thing in red after, so that could be the problem. I have dyed other vinyl with rit dye before and never had this problem (skuttles). I'm wondering if a clear coat of v-color would "seal" it in? It seems no matter how many times I soak this thing the pot just keeps getting red. Any help???

I haven't read through it but there might be something in Lash's sticky note about painting.

I thought you were going to paint orange and yellow highlights...or are you trying out dyes on a different chaos.

I was going to paint orange highlights on THIS chaos, which was done in dyes... It was THIS one that was leaching dye everywhere
