i think the technique on it is fantastic!

Too much fun Kirkland! I like how you really played up the "beast" in this guy. He goes where the wild things are!

yes! of course! good call Dean. Maurice Sendak is amazing. I think it's the best children's book out there. a must read for every monster lover....kaiju or otherwise

Mmm... Matsumoto's shave ice. Perhaps this warrants a weekend visit.

I like the play off the gold glitter in the vinyl, a 'cool' concept. :D

i think i still do haha

when i was small i would pretend like i was actually breaking the barriers that grover would build to stop you from reaching the end of the book

There used to be a huge "Wild Things" indoor playground for tots at Metreon here in SF. The kiddies loved it but it's not there any more. I never saw Rangeas in that light until I saw this custom. Not sure if that's what Kirkland intended but it's a fun connotation. I agree, that's a "must have" book for children.

ok......seriously now.....

Grover is a bumbling idiot at best even when in Super Grover mode.

He's a sorry excuse for a monster.

That's two great rangeas customs. Is there a clearer headshot or shot from the front?
