So here's my first Kaiju piece, and my first try with an airbrush and V-color paint... All white base with black/silver spray, and florescent red spray... Still needs teeth and eyes which will be silver...

Looks pretty darn good! The only thing I might suggest is to do something with the mouth. Not sure what though, but the pink doesn't look great. Nice work though! |

it looks sloppy - the grey in particular seems thrown on in places and there is some definite pooling of the pink in the cracks i dont know if it is the magman or what, but i have never seen one of those that look good after they are painted. I suppose it's a good figure to practice on i do like the color pink you used |

Thats exactly what it was... practice... I mean the whole figure is globs and messy, I wasn't quite sure how to make it look "neat"..lol |

Oh I totally know what you mean... There was a bit of method to my madness with this figure... And I guess it turned out a bit of how I thought it would... But like I said... this was more practice than anything... All I knew is I wanted it white, a little smokey, and some really hot pink to highlight some parts. Thanks for the critiques tho... Definitely appreciated... My technique definitely needs some practice... keeping nozzle pressure, and paint flow under control... |

My french teacher who is also an AP Art History teacher uses "Hoity Toity". Anyways, I think this custom is a bit messy, nice choice of colors though. Kind of looks like a Buff Monster custom. |

Kind of looks like a Buff Monster custom. Dude, are you still in high school? And I agree, the paint application is a bit sloppy, but with practice I'm sure you'll be fine. I would love to give some advice, but I've never painted anything in my life. |
