MANIMAL wrote: havingmysay wrote: curious, what makes it a fight figure? ive kinda wondered this even before dropping into this thread - what makes a fight figure just that? Well some of them were designed to be fighters...i.e. the gargamel fight figures that are wearing wrestling outfits...and the secret base stuff is mired in fight figure lore...so says the mook. |

Like a martial arts uniform "gi" (sorry if your joke was lost on me). Yeah, I dunno, typically fight figures have discernible arms and legs and some sort of competitive attire. This seems more like a mid-size figure, if you want to be technical. I like the step up to larger-size toys for your creation and WKY's monster guy. Big chunky toys always seem to draw my attention. |

I think mostly scale, and since Fink shit they have all worn fighting gear, except for the suit wearing Gargamel guys who I guess are fight managers. I don't think RxH would be considered a fight toy even. |

He did his on a larger scale than the original fight toys and didn't got through the Takeshit, SB, Gargamel channel to start making them though. Also if they exist in their own Universe separate from the fight universe the other toys exist in they can't be a fight toy, they just can't damit! Thus concludes my nerd rant of the day. |

I don't think RxH is in the "Fight Figure" catagory. If I can remember, I've asked Mori what made him start making those characters. Well, he loves Ninja Turtles. And since it was hard to get them or too expencive in Japan, he decided to make his own line of Mutants. Thus we have Mutant character vinyls. Soooo....fight figure???Hmmmm....maybe not. I would say more like Mutant Fighters. |

I call bullshit on Mori! No way is it cheaper to make your own line of Vinyl toys in Japan than grab Old Ninja turtles, anywhere! I like that story though. |

I like that story though. hahaha...you have a point, but you have to remember, we're talking about when it was first out. And when he wants mutants of his own, then he will make it. Hmmm...maybe I should have explained better. Mori likes Mutants + Wants his own mutant character = RHND!!!! |
