I haven't seen any of Leecifer's customs in person---can anyone give info if this particular figure and all his painted figs use some clear coat? Or a flat (?) coat to prevent paint smudging? |

And "no" I no longer use clear coats as some figs were fine and others became sticky (due largely to the vinyl "off-gassing" I suspect) with no consistent pattern. I now do a lot of prep instead including lots of washing, some sanding, and lots of priming. Hope that helps? |

I hope I get the chance to see one of these in person. The paint is amazing. Sometimes it's hard for me to grasp that these are actually painted. I saw the squirm and that blew me away. |
