A combination of parts from a Medicom Kikaida 01 and Cyborg99 body with custom chrome red and blue innards in the biceps and thighs that I salvaged from some microman figs. I LOVE the old clear cyborg vinyl versions of Kikaida w/paper inserts from the 70's, as well as the old Bandai Mechanical Boy. I was thinking to myself how I wanted to see a modern update, and came up with this guy.

Thanks for the compliments This guy started out with a sad story really, my brother got him(Medicom Kikaida) for me as a Christmas present a couple of years ago, and as I took him out of the box the red/blue suit had deteriorated into a gooey mess. But if it hadn't happened he wouldnt have been reborn into what he is now. I'm working on a couple more 70's "cyborged" henshin heroes at the moment, I'll throw up some pics when I finish 'em. |

Never check this thread much - but I'm glad I did - great custom! Really worked on the 99 body too! My Mesicom RAH Kikaida suit goo-ified also - Medicom do great designs, but their early QC was not too great in some cases. |
