I did this for the BoogieMan photo contest, im working him into a photo scenario now but my camera is messed up. I managed to snap a few though. Used a Optical clear boogie and never painted a toy or used a airbrush before, wish it came out better but i tried to keep it to a less is more approach instead of painting every detail in the pic. Mostly used sprays with very minimal brush painting and used this airbrush haha http://www.kaiju-taro.com/shop_system/i ... 61gdsa.jpg The final photo for the contest: ![]() ![]() ![]() Source of inspiration:

Awesome job for your first time painting. Love the silver hands and feet. You blended the green really well too. |

More toys should have septum rings and there should always be more My Pet Monster homages. I dig it. I know you said you didn't want to get hyper-detailed, but if his shackles were orange, his lower teeth painted, and the yes more defined, I think this would rule even more than it already does. |

Thanks peeps. Yea I tried to paint the cuffs of the shackles multiple times but it just wasnt coming out. Fluorescent V color was a nightmare for a first time user so i scrapped it and just did the chains. Also I only painted the top row because pet monster only has the top row painted. I should have my "scenario" photo up later. |

Yea I really wish I got the pink to work on the leaves. I did it probably 10 times and never got it right, it was fluorescent pink and i couldnt get it mixed right so it kept spider webbing and splattering. Had to repaint it over and over and then i ran out of pink paint. Ill add it later though, deadline is the 10th so had to hurry. |
