Ok, while I know that this is pretty much a vinyl toy collector site, I thought some collectors might like to see this custom Snarlie Narlie Rock Lords figure I made since it is such a CRAZY lookin' figure! The original toy (from the 80's) is red w/ white & black tiger striped fur (bottom photo) and is a Holy Grail item for Rock Lord collectors. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

uberboy wrote: what was the base color? It was red, as seen the photos under the custom. The original looks way cool, and it's kind of a shame it was painted over (since it is so coveted). With that being said, I do like what you did to it. |

Actually, the bottom photo is of my friend's original Snarlie which did operate. So he asked me to take it all apart and try to fix it (which I did). Then he asked me if I could mold/cast the parts and then reconstruct a custom version of it (which obviously is not battery operated)...so I did. Here is a Rock Lords site: http://74.125.95.132/search?q=cache:HgXmLiPMsf4J:www.ikp.uni-koeln.de/~scholl/rock/rock/narlies/snarlienarlie.html+snarlie+narlie&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us&client=firefox-a |

That's badass, how big is this guy? Have you cast anymore? He is approximately 6" wide x 10 " long x 4.5" high. I tossed this one on Ebay for now, I am waiting to see how he sells before I put anymore materials or labor into making another one. I was thinking of just selling the plastic parts and letting collectors make their own w/ their own fur and paint jobs. TGB |

Here is Jason's new Snarlie custom. I made the body, axles, plastic parts and cut the fur template. Jason stitched up the seams, padded him, & painted him! Nice work bro! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
