Came out sweet buddy :)

Do you know how many shows we have been in together or how many custom toys we have done on this board now, think about it ;)

I was in NY over the weekend and heard your in the same show, curious to see what you did with that huge chunk of vinyl.

No doubt!
Thanks Rich.

I also have a heightened level of appeciation for this fig after painting it.

Oh man, the "big chunk" was damn awkward, but I'm all for charity. :o

Yes awkward was the word huh, I had one HELL of a time with the paint chipping off, I used almost a full can of clear on it and I hope it makes it through all the shows. . Not to mention you couldn't really take it apart. But the words " Disney" and "Charity" helped motivate.

Good stuff buddy :)

Yeah, Rich I took it apart and low and behold gouges here and there before I got to paint it.
I had to put on the "egg gloves" to get it back together once painted though..

It's strange how they prime them with that really thick soft coat.
The bummer is ,if it gets dinged your pretty much screwed unless you strip it down to the bone and re coat it with 5-10 bottles of white instead of a plain quality surface like JP vinyl offers.

Glad I wasn't the only one steamin pissed with it.

This wasnt my first time painting something like this so I knew better than to strip it. You just sort of do your best to build on what it already there. Then hope and pray your clear coat will will hold it all together. This is usually why I dont paint western toys.

I cant wait to see what you did, if you actually stripped it and painted it with V yours is gonna be amazing !
