smooth out how? there are about 10 colors layered to make it look different no matter how you look at it, at different angles |

oh, well it's hand brushed in the pupil... I suppose it could have been a bubble... i can't even see it in person... |

Yeah, all the sprayed parts look nice. I like the gold accents. Just that one little spot. I'm sure the harsh lighting in the pic isn't doing you any favors, either. If you don't mind me asking, what kind of paint are you brushing on there? |

Yeah natural light is usually better to bring out these types of colors, but can cause shadows, etc... I need to build a photo box... I find it fairly hard to brush Vcolor onto vcolor. The thinner in it tends to pull up color from below, plus it dries too fast while working with it. If I do have to hand paint something. I will press some paint out of an acrylic paint pen, then use a brush to brush it on... it's smoother than normal acrylic, so it tends to flow better. |
