Just out of curiosity, does anyone know what the Japanese figure makers think of people doing customs using their figures? Are there any in particular that like it or dislike it? Do they expect it? Do they look forward to it?

Seems a few of the producers at least have customising competitions and isn't that what the unpainted releases are for?
