Finished these Soviet-themed irradiated Space Troopers last night. I've always liked the Space Trooper design, but thought that the releases were all pretty boring and overpriced. so I decided to fix that  I'm really happy with how these came out... let me know what you guys think.Lots more pics here: http://prometheusrising.wordpress.com/2009/11/04/soviet-space-troopers/

Very nice vintage look! The yellow star looks great, and that black-rub makes them look like Cold War-era toys. |

I was a little reserved when I fist saw it, but after a few views I like this. The color red along with the way you sprayed the black look great. Sweet stuff ya got there

Thanks for the support guys! I've had a number of people make comparisons to old tin toys, and I think that's an interesting comparison that I didn't think of, due to the Trooper sculpt. I can see how these would not appeal to everyone due to the radically different style than usual vinyl fare, but I think the Troopers definitely took a more detailed paint job well. |

These are great. Versions with CCCP or a Hammer and Sickle would be cool too. |
