Post subject:  'Real-type' Vegetius, emerging from his slumber!

I think the idea of Vegetius being a giant turtle monster is sweet, even if the actual design is a little lacking... those short, stumpy arms just kill it for me. That said, the figure is sweet, with both great surface detail and wide open spaces to mess around on. I wanted to depict Vegetius right as he was emerging from the ocean depths for another rampage, slick wet and glistening in the sun. I had just received my full set of Monster Kolor metallics, pearls, and more gloss, so off I went! I used red pearl for the squishy bits, gold pearl for the plating, and color-change flakes for the body, which refracts prismatically and provides an awesome wet, glistening look.

This sculpt is weird. Your paint scheme is a fitting complement. Strangely compelling...
