Jeremy - Nice work. FYI Western Vinyl is NOT appreciated on this board. There is some wiggle room, but best to explore the board, ask Q's, and be here awhile before testing anyones patience. |

Thanks! Once again, Lee, thanks for letting me into the show at the last minute. Looking forward to seeing you again on Saturday. Snuffles is specifically the piece I'm talking about and mainly because of what I turned it into, which got some Kaiju appreciation from some people. I'll PM you |

Really liking some of the more subtle brush work and detailing. It's different from what I'm used to seeing. The horns on that last Garuru are particularly awesome. |

D-Lux wrote: valleydweller wrote: I've got one, it's just such a hassle to clean Trust me I know... I'd be interested to see what you can do with one, although I really like these colors and application I used it a bit on the Three Mile Steven and the bottom most (oldest) Garuru. Mainly for the GID paint I used, because it went on like Elmer's Glue with a brush. You can probably see the gradations most on Steven. The basecoating on my BATTERY [expletive deleted] that was in the Dragatomi anniversary show was done with airbrush as well. I'd definitely like to get better with it, but just need to figure out where to fit it in. Maybe on my qeeSassin in a can blindbox set. It'll be more assembly-line there, so it'll make more sense to load up one color and hit twenty dudes, then switch. Here's another recent Super7 piece, my first overseas commission, done in tandem with the other Big Sal. Bad Hair Day Big Sal the Stampede by valleydweller, on Flickr |

Russblue11 wrote: I really like that green in the eyes - is that GID paint? Yes, the eyes of the Bad Hair Day Big Sal are GID paint airbrushed into the sockets, then cleaned up around the mask. If you click on the image you can see more shots of that guy in my flickr feed, I just didn't want to clog the thread with the others That was interesting to photograph BTW. Was all done with my iPhone and a LED flashlight I have with a blacklight switch on it. So I charged up the one side of him with the blacklight then flipped it around and switched modes to get the rimlight. |
