Wife is at a bachelorette party + kids are fed, bathed and in bed + I'm bored = M1 Baltan gets a little V-Color treatment. Keep in mind I'm no PK. This was originally a flesh colored base, I painted about 5 coats of glow spray to the whole thing then attacked it with the first three colors in arms reach. ![]() ![]() |

Quite nice. I particularly enjoy the pink dots on the legs and the dark chest area. |

I would have left a little flesh vinyl showing, but I really like the colors on this guy. He's got a great vintage feel with some pretty wild colors. The glow also looks really good. Better than I assumed glow paints could do. |

Thanks fellas, the glow paint works great but this guys joints were sooooo tight that some of the base glow did rub off when putting him back together. I'm not a huge fan of the flesh colored vinyl. I actually have a double of the flesh colored PopSoda that I might try and paint but I have a hard time picturing what looks good on the flesh base. |

So I tried my hand at a clear Gargamel Smogun last night. I will take better pics once I have the metallic tinsel I want to add. Had a little problem with the clear coat which I will ask about in the "How to paint with V-Color" thread. ![]() ![]() |

This is on a flesh vinyl, not that you could tell because I completely covered it. ![]() ![]() |

Looks like puke and peaches, and I love it. Should have been an original colorway. |

oooh, the popsoda is nice! i like the legs and goopy arm parts the best; they go well with the orange-red jacket. the head is a bit busy for the rest of the sculpt, but still works pretty well. the way the colors are applied on the face combined with the jacket and soda-limbs make it seem a bit like a classic rasta red-yellow-green colorway. i think the face part of the head could use a little more of the greens and yellows like the arm and legs to help tie the piece together from top to bottom. again, i really like this popsoda. the smogun works with the clear, but just a little too bright for my tastes. the M1 i do not like. you can really tell that there's a ton of paint on that toy and it hurts the way the colors work together. |

the popsoda is pretty rad. I'm into the legs and arm and jacket alot! I feel like maybe the spray on the "popsoda" on the face may be a little too loose for me though. But it is awesome, I keep coming back to look and I have no interest in popsodas |

Thanks guys, I'm actually really happy with the PopSoda but the white on the head could have been a little tighter. Not really happy with the Baltan though, I'll probably strip it and give it another go, that is if I can get all the paint off. The picture above isn't very good and I'll likely take a better one before I strip it just incase I totally ruin it. |

Sweet! I'm not sure about the mesh-mask pupils on the eyes, but I like the colors overall. Got a glow shot? |
