So I finally picked up some sculpey and sculpting tools, and got to cranking out my first sculpt tonight! During the baking process I kind of burnt the top and bottom a bit though. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

If you want to make it really gross, add a few hairs. |

How big is "Left Nut" Winu? Definitely a cool Madball tribute. I'd love to see some painted up! |

Looks more like just a plain old skull than a testical skull to me. You could sculpt the epididymis across the back of the head, like a hair piece or toupee something? Maybe make the vas deferens into a stylish 80's rat-tail ...or maybe I'm just talking bollocks? |

I'd love to see some painted up! He's about 1.25" tall and 1.5" wide! So quite small, probably not enough to be a full fledged madball tribute. I am however thinking about re-sculpting a larger one! I'm not sure if this will go to resin because I don't have any of that equipment, but I might be able to ask someone else if they could cast a few for me! Will definitely paint a few up if it happens. |

Winu wrote: But now I really wish I could add those anatomical details to the sculpt! Can I though? Just sculpt out new things onto the already baked clay and just pop it in the oven again? ![]() Sure can- that's exactly how I work. I think all of my sculpts must have been through the oven at least half a dozen times. To help with adhesion you can score into the baked clay with a knife to rough up the surface, or apply a little vaseline to the surface to help it stick. |

When you do Right Nut, I recommend giving him an abcess. Trust me, its no fun, and I'm sure he deserves it. Whatever you do, keep working. Left Nut looks good. I think some of the most incredible works have come from people on this board. Love to see where you go with these guys. |
