So I know there are some allusions to Orko in the guy I'm making, but to be honest, it's more loosely based on past memories of a Wizard of Oz graphic novel I read when I was 7 or 8... I just picked it up at my local comic book shop and realized the similarities to the scarecrows clothing was uncanny, and the body looks close to a fellow from oz named tic toc. I think I've also pulled certain allusions from The Skull kid race from the Legend Zelda:The Ocarina of Time. That being said, all similarities were unintentional... Update on Sculpt |

I saw your other photos and was wondering if the guy was kneeling or what. Don't care a lot for the lighting on the chest. The mouth is interesting and I love the hat. Also this size appeals a lot to me. And I think you should 'exploit' the textures with your paint job, which in my opinion you haven't. |

Thanks for the comments, there are things I like about both of the sculpts I've done, I like the hand and arms on the first one (the left), but I like the hair/fur on the one on the left... The lightning was something I was questionable about, but it was something I wanted in for the story I've been building... Maybe as an accessory? Just curious what would you do different with the paintjob? I did the paint on both of these before I bought an airbrush, so I'm curious... I'm going to sculpt another one so I can combine the two into one... I'm just looking for feedback, as far as size, I did both of these before I bought any S7 toys, but it does seems to fit in nice size wise. I'm a perfectionist with anything I do so I'll keep working him, and reworking him until I feel that he is perfect... Again thanks for the comments, It's nice to have feedback. |

Turn that lightning bolt into a beard! Get someone to do this for you in 3d, then print it out, sand it down and cast it. |

O.K. I updated the sculpt, It still hasn't been fired, I have a lot of details to polish off, but I took some of your suggestions, and went with them. I decided that instead of sculpting a beard, I'm going to make him hairy all over, and I got rid of the lightning bolt completely. I also updated his legs, because they felt to ambiguous from the front before. The end result will also have a cape, made out of cloth or plastic. Thanks for any input you give, or have given. |
