Ahhh now I feel finished. Funny how something so simple makes such a difference. Before:

Pink blends into the gold now and took the dark purple out. NOW I'm happy

Also I was thinking of having a 1 day auction on saturday. Kind of a little fun and runenr up for those who loose out on the S7 RxH set. What do you guys think ? Or is this no good because of the holiday and everyone would be broke ? |

Cool, yeah I've had 2 PMs about it also so its on. The auction will start 2:00 pm east coast time (which is 11:00 west westcost time) and end at midnight eastern time (which is 9:00 PM western). LASH - me prefers the original version in terms of the pink etc. I think it's because it looks more sinister to me, and I damn well love sinister. Good job but either way. |

Good job but either way. +1. the pink made him look more evil. The second is nicer in terms of subtleness, fade, blend but this is toys we're talking about. If you wanted to tone the pink down, a splash of gold in the center would've worked too. Still a killer piece no matter what. |

Thanks people ! Well this was a study for me. I've been wanting to learn how to do paint jobs like some of the older kaiju had. And the last few pieces I've been doing have been for this study. I'm very happy with what I'm learning and there is so much that can be learned. This re-do was exactly waht I was shooting for. I turned out exactly what my minds eye saw. The first version was great but nothing at all what I wanted. Now I'm happy and satisfied. Dont worry guys there is always time for more sinister toys. But sometimes you have to try other things to learn how to improve your technique. I have some great paint schemes planned out but ust need vinyl. I have a few comissions I'm doing right now. If you like sinister you will get it soon
Thanks for the critiques though. Keep em coming
O and after the handfull of header cards I have left I think its time for new art
And you guys are gonna LOVE the new pic. its an oil painting I'm doing. |

Its all set up like a science lab. My studio area is located near bilco doors so on a nice day noy only is the booth vented out but the open doors bring in a lot of fresh air and light. Also got a new airbrush which I'm still getting used to. But its so much better. I'm a little in debt right now but what ever, its worth it. The art I'm doing makes me happy

i liked the first version better, it was far more nwojk looking in style, and entirely badass! not meant as a dis though, this version is still very nice. ^^ |

So its pretty 50/50. Its Either love it or like it but love the other way better it seems. Its like I scored twice. 2 different paints and both got good replies
And yes Strawberry Mashmallow thats it !! Thanks for the name Paul it fits perfectly

My first reaction was I like the first one better but I think that's because it was the my first love of the two.The more times I view the new version the more I think I like it better.I also did a test and showed both to some friends at the same time and all said they prefer the newer one. |
