Here are some customs I did this last week or so, before and after pics. I got a few more to do over the holiday yet. Comments and feedback welcome. Also, any Texans get in touch... Redhanded |

these are great, they almost look like really fancy production pieces. did you use irisawa paints or something else? the Goro is my favorite for sure. (howdy from a fellow texan. its always good to know theres other kaijuphiles here in the great state of soul-crushing boredom.) |

No, I never heard of that brand actually. I used 4 different brands of airbrush paint depending on what I am doing and a 2 different kinds of acryllic paints for the brush work. Not all paints companies have the same quality, or quantities for color. As an example, Tamiya is great if you want 8 different greens and 6 different greys but they only make 1 yellow and 1 purple... So great for tanks, not so for Goro. They of course cater to the military modeler. akumaizer wrote: Try V-color V color? I assume you mean Vallejo Paints? Yeah I use them, the base color for the Goro was a Vallejo Air paint. (edit) So its not Vallejo paint, someone sned me a link for V-Color Irasawa, I for the life of me have never head of it or seen it. Is it a UK or JP brand? Redhanded |
