Post subject:  Painting again, finally.
So I finally got around to painting something again, I haven't been too motivated lately. It's the first time I used clear paints so I found out the hard way that they come off easier than the opaque colors. And a little soap and hot water does wonders for those sticky soft clear brain covers too.

Thanks guys, makes me want to paint some more now! I need to figure out how to get that pearl effect with V-Color, after that I will go nuts.

Thanks a ton everyone!

I just used a base of clear yellow and sprayed over most of the body which I painted silver inside. Then I sparyed the red over it to get the orange and pink colors. After that some clear green and voila! I dont paint alot but always think I should. Hmmm, maybe I will!

And Jim, where did you find that painting!?! I totally forgot I gave that to you. :shock:

Loco, I am gonna be 39 soon. I used to go to Ruthies and the Square and wherever in the middle to late '80s. We probably did cross paths more than once!

This is fantastic! I love that fact that you've chosen to leave the brain clear and let the inner head show through. This is actually something I've wanted to see done for a long time. The colours are amazing and the comment made earlier about this looking like ribbon candy is right on.

Great stuff Denis. I too would love to see some more.
