There is an incredible amount of talent on this board ! It's great to share that part of ourselves with others. This is one of my favorite paintings from '06, acrylic on canvas 38x60. Working on NEW paintings now and as usual for me a new direction too.

here's a bit from Kurt vonnegut's last novel....

"If you want to really hurt your parents, and you don't have the nerve to be gay, the least you can do is go into the arts. I'm not kidding. The arts are not a way to make a liviing. They are a very human way of making life more bearable. Practicing an art, no matter how well or how badly, is a way to make your soul grow, for heaven's sake. Sing in the shower. Dance to the radio. Tell stories. Write a poem to a friend, even a lousy poem. Do it as well as you possibly can. You will get an enormous reward. You will have created something."

I love him. He is a much missed talent on the planet.

Here's something i did in about an hour today that i thought was fun to do....

and another i did a few weeks ago, when i got this T9G toy, regret

Well if I did this right there should be an image of an old comic book splash page I did back in 95 when I was trying to break into comic books.

LOL. I remember I had only six hours to come up with the splash page in the hotel room for the next day.

Recent work I did for Nokia X D-Mop in Hong Kong. Logo design, Wallpapers, Screensavers, Packaging, Small movie etc. etc. Design, art direction, Illustration. Heaven job... Influenced from my love of Kaiju and deep ocean creatures. I came up with the theme "Evolution Revolution". This was one theme that is very limited version, and a mass version which is more vector based art not shown.

someone said this thing i did last night reminded them of Nirasawa. I don't really see it, but thought you guys would be interested.

The colors i put in were pretty rad, but i didn't want to post them (since the logo is on there) until the band approved the image.
